Ohhhh those sugar cravings. Especially when Fall hits with all the yummy baked goods, special coffee drinks and big hoodies to hide it all! So how can I control these sugar cravings?

  1. Eat balanced meals with plenty of protein, fiber and healthy fats

  2. Stay hydrated with water and herbal teas

  3. Get enough sleep

  4. Manage your stress with exercising

  5. Every time you walk by the frig or open the pantry, drink an 8 ounce glass of water.

  6. Pick fruit, dark chocolate or Greek plain yogurt with fruit.

  7. Chew some sugar free gum

  8. Drink some herbal teas with natural sweetness (Cinnamon does it for me)

  9. Distract, distract, distract. Do that pile of endless laundry that keeps looking at you.

  10. And if you give in, be kind to your neighbor and give them the rest of your sweet, yummy treats. Out of sight, out of mind.
